a beautiful skein from Zauberelfe. It is 100% Merinowool, super soft, and sooooo nice to knit with.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I dont know about you, but my weekends absolutely fly by :0)
I would like to show you my newest sock, made from Tausendschoen Yarn, called Ferienfieber. Another beautiful import from Germany. Pattern is called " Nutkin" , without a doubt one of my favorite Sock Pattern. These will also be sold at my Christmas Open House !

And since it was so much fun......

I made another one ! Felting is really a bunch of fun !My next one will be red :0) These will be sold at my Christmas Open House in November !

Oh, I'm so proud of myself.........

I have been seeing so many pretty felted projects, I just had to try it !!!! I was very skeptic after the hat was knitted.........................when I took it out of the washer after the first wash I was a believer, after the second wash I was thrilled.............. WOW, THIS REALLY WORKS !!!! I AM HOOKED !!!!

35 Quarts......

of Beans, was this weekends reason, why my knitting was once again on the back burner. My entire Saturday was spent on breaking and canning 1 Bushel of beans. But ohhhhh how good they will be this winter :0)

After................

8 quarts of Fiesta Salsa , 8 quarts and 12 pints of Tomatoes, I finally had a breather and finished this pair of socks :0)

a Sunday afternoon project !!Besides stuffing myself with hamburgers, chicken, corn, slaw , cheesecake and brownies, a cookout with family was also very productive.............

And what a surprice........

when I got in Sunday morning, this was waiting for me on the kitchen table. Along with some German cooking mixes, gravy's and chocolate from my brother in Germany ( I love him to death )

We went camping over the weekend, and had a great time. I usually get a good bit of knitting done in my Lawn Chair :0)
I finished my STR Dixie Chick's.

This turned out very nice, however I hope it will still be a while before I will have to wear this :0) I am ready for Fall, but not for Winter

I received my beautiful order for me and some fellow knitters from the Tausendschoen Club on Ravelry. I wish I could say they are all mine !!!! But unfortunately I am the proud owner of just one :0(

Just finished...........

my pair of Regia Socks. I opened a E**y ( no, its not the Auction one ) a while back, I believe I will list them and see what happens. Christmas is right around the corner maybe I can find a taker :0)
I will try to sell them for $ 17.95, hope that is not too much

I did get just a little knitting done........

a resent Magic Yarn Ball trade I made with a very special Lady earned me this beautiful handmade hank of teal yarn. The Idea for this pattern came from a Ravelry Knitter. Cant wait to get this off the Needles and try it on :0)
