A little Hat and Bootie Set.....

is going to be gifted to my Mail-carrier today. She is going to become a first time grandmother in November ..............................How exciting !!!!!!!

And then I also made these.....

fingerless gloves. Despite the 94 degrees outside, I knitted several pair of fingerless Gloves during the week. I can only show these two, because the others will be gifted and I don't
want them to be seen :0)

Still Damp.........

but I just had to take a picture of it ! I realized today, I have only 6 weeks until my Christmas Open House, so now panic has set in. I was up til midnight, knitting this purse yesterday. This morning it was felted and I just added the handles :0)

Mine was absolutely wonderful. I went to a Woolfest in Yellow Springs Ohio. The weather was perfect, we had a great Time. Delicious Food, great Company and the yarn was to die for. Anyone should go to at least one of them once a year, to keep up with the newest Fibers and Pattern.
Sunday was knitting Day :0) My second Pimpelliese is growing. This one I am knitting with Fortissima by Schoeller & Stahl .

I got a Package from Germany today.................

and ohhhhhh it was like Christmas. I made a trade with a very nice girl I meet through Ravelry. I couldn't believe it, when I opened the box......the yarn is so much more then what I expected. The colors are absolutely stunning ! I even got an extra Gift, a beautiful Sock Blocker made by her husband :0) Thank you sooooooo much Tina !!! Now I wish I had a few extra hands, to cast all this yarn on all at once :0)

Christmas is right around the corner........

I am knitting " mini Socks " for several Advent Calendars for my Christmas Open House :0) Since yesterday was such a beautiful day, I decided to take them out for a Photo shoot ........

May I introduce............

my first " Pimpelliese" Shawl by Spinning Martha, Christine Ebers( Pattern available at Ravelry) made from Gruendl Yarn: Lisa Print. This scarf - like shawl is a triangle started at the tip, the lace border is worked together with the shawl. My lovely Modell is my sons girlfriend.

It has been awhile....

since I have posted, but I have been battling a very nasty sinus infection. Unfortunately I am still a little under the weather. We had a nice weekend at the camper, now back to work tomorrow. I didn't get nearly as much knitting done as I hoped for. But I can show you a picture of a very cute pair of Baby Booties I knitted. The pattern is from a Ravelry Member: krayzee. If you are a Member of Ravelry you should check out her sock and glove pattern she has up for purchase. I bought the sock pattern last week and am planning on trying it out soon :0) Have a wonderful week !!!
