Today I just made litte ones :0)

I just wasn't in the mood for anything big today, so I made 3 Advent Calender Socks, and a pair of Newborn Socks !

Hello Friends........

I am very sorry I have been so quiet , but we had a bit of a Family Emergency. My son (22) has been hospitalized, vomiting and extreme abdominal pain. We are back at home, however still not sure what the problem is. We are going to go through more tests and hope they will find the problem soon. No matter how old your children are it is extremely upsetting to see them suffer. I haven't felt this helpless in a very long time. And you know when they give him Morphine for pain, it is serious business. Anyway, he is home and fairly comfortable at this time. Which would be a lie in my case! I am on pins and needles, scared to death he will start vomiting again. So what does a person do to calm down............I knit and try to get my mind occupied.
Here is a pair of socks I finished this morning. It was Krayzee Kittys Mystery Kal.
I used yarn from Atelier Zauberelfe called Rose bei Nacht. It was an absolute joy to work with this yarn.

This yarn didn't have a wrapper, but I believe it was a Tausendschoen
Used 62g, size 8-9

This pair just jumped off my needles. Made with my first skein of Opal Hundertwasser. I loved it !!!!! Once again one of my favorite patterns : Nutkin

I would like to show you another pair of Socks I finished last night. This is my 5th pair for 2011. This was knitted with Lana Grossa Meileinweit Fantasy, I really love this color !!
Size 8, used 76 g.
Just listed it on Etsy, and hope they sell quick, or I just might have to put them in my Sock Stash :0) after all it IS my size :0)

Started a Mystery Kal today.......

I am participating in a Mystery Kal on Ravelry, and believe this will be tons of fun. I decided to use my " Rose bei Nacht " by Artelier Zauberelfe.
Here is a picture of the beautiful yarn, and my started sock :0) Now I have to wait until next week for clue # 2. Wow, not sure if I can wait that long ......................:0)

Hello everyone! Well , let's start another one ! Hope we all stay healthy and have lot's of time for our family, friends and of course our passion of knitting, crocheting, sewing and whatever else it is you love to do. I decided this is the year to get some kind of organization in my craft room.......boy I wonder how long I can keep this one up :0) I am planning on knitting up the yarn I have stored all over my house ( I am not kidding it is everywhere ), and things I don't want anymore, will go on e-Bay, or will be donated. I have also joined a few Kal's on Ravelry to knit up this overwhelming yarn stash of mine :0) One of them is the Advent Calendar Mini Sock Kal, this will eliminate several of my smaller scraps. I want to show you the first 5 little ones I just posted on my Ravelry Project Page.
